Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2, 2026

This page explains what happens to information you share through this website. It is written for the site itself—not for the clinical record we keep once you are a client.

Two different kinds of information
If we are working together in therapy, your clinical information is protected under HIPAA and Florida law, and it lives in the treatment record—not on this website. This policy is about what you send through the site: contact forms, emails, and ordinary website data such as cookies or analytics.

What I collect on this site
Only what you choose to send, and what the site needs to function:

  • Name, email, phone number, and the message you type into a contact or inquiry form

  • Emails you send to the practice address

  • Basic technical data the host or analytics tool may log (for example, browser type, pages viewed, general location, and time of visit)

I do not ask for a full clinical history through the website. Please do not put diagnoses, trauma details, or other sensitive health information in a form or an ordinary email.

How that information is used
To respond to your inquiry, schedule a consult if it is a fit, and keep the site working. I do not sell your information. I do not use inquiry messages for marketing lists unless you have clearly asked to be on one.

Who else might see it
The website may run on a third-party host. Forms and email may pass through those providers. If I use a scheduling or analytics tool, that vendor processes only what is needed to provide the service. I do not share inquiry information with advertisers.

This site is not a secure therapy portal
A contact form or standard email is not the same as a HIPAA-compliant patient portal. Treat anything you type here as less protected than what we would put in the clinical record after we begin.

How long I keep website inquiries
Contact-form messages and emails are kept long enough to respond and, if we do not start treatment, for a reasonable administrative period. If we do begin treatment, relevant scheduling details move into the clinical process and follow those record rules instead.

Cookies and analytics
The site may use cookies or a basic analytics service to understand which pages are used. You can block cookies in your browser. The site should still work for reading and contacting the practice.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from them through the website.

Your choices
You can email and ask what website-inquiry information I have from you, and ask that an unused inquiry be deleted, as long as I do not need it for a legal or professional reason. Clinical records, if we have started treatment, follow a different process.

Security
I take reasonable steps to protect information sent through the site. No website is perfectly secure. That is another reason not to send sensitive clinical details this way.

Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, I will update this page.

Questions
If you want to know how an inquiry was handled, use the contact information on this site. If we are already working together, privacy questions about your treatment record belong in session or through the secure method we have agreed to use.
