Why Concierge Therapy is a Different Way to Work

This is the touchstone of my practice: a year of walking through the work together, with enough time and access to stay in it.

You can find a weekly hour almost anywhere. What is harder to find is someone who stays in it with you — who already knows the story, who will tell you what she sees, and who has enough time that the hard part does not get packed up at the fifty-minute mark.

That is the relationship this is built for. I walk beside you through the divorce, the body that is changing, the pattern you are tired of surviving. I do not sit across from you and wait for the hour to fill itself. We name what is happening. We stay with it. When the week breaks, you are not starting over with a stranger who has a cancellation. You are coming back to the person who was already in the work with you.

The shape of that is simple. Sessions can run longer when an hour is not enough. I can come to the house when getting out the door is the thing in the way. If something cannot wait until the next standing time, we look for a window — often the same day, sometimes in the evening or on a weekend — inside the hours this practice keeps. I keep this part of the practice small so that room exists. I will get you in as soon as the schedule allows. I do not promise that every request is seen today. This is not a crisis line. If you are in danger, call 911 or 988.

The fee is annual and it is not billed to insurance. We confirm it in the consult, before anything is scheduled. For additional information on the fee structure, please visit my Fees page for additional information.

If what you need is a private hour by video, that is a real way to do this work, and I offer that too. Concierge is for the woman who wants company through it — more time, a visit when the house is where the work belongs, and a clinician who does not leave the story at the door.

If you want to see whether it is the right fit, start with a consult. We will sort it there, before anything is scheduled.

Before You Decide

Continuity. Someone who already knows the story, so you are not starting over when something happens on a Tuesday. Home visits, secure video, and same-day sessions — in person or online — are part of the relationship, not extras you have to request around a full calendar.

What You Are Actually Paying For

Extended Time

Weekly sessions are 45 or 60 minutes. Concierge includes longer sessions when the work needs them. Some things do not fit in an hour. A longer meeting can hold the hard part without watching the clock the whole time.

Where We Meet

Most of the practice is secure video for clients in Florida. Concierge adds the option to meet in the privacy of your own home or another secure location of your choosing in the greater Palm Beach area. That is for the day you cannot get out the door, the week privacy matters, or the work belongs in the place where your life actually happens. Video is still there when that is the better room.

Same-Day Access

You do not wait for an opening three Thursdays from now. If the night goes sideways, or waiting a week would mean white-knuckling it, you already have a way to reach the person who knows you. This is not a crisis service and it is not unlimited texting. It is scheduled access, including the same day, inside a relationship that already exists.
